On April 17, Taniwani launched again after a winter in the shade of the Madeira runway. Now ready and awaiting new adventures. The good old crew plans to set sail in mid May and head south to Selvagens and Canaries.
This is the Cruising Blog of Sailing Yacht TANIWANI. Taniwani is a Najad 490 build in 2000. From 2004 to 2008 Beate and Harald sailed her around the world, partially in company with family and friends. Currently the couple sails Taniwani about four months a year, but bigger plans are still around. All previous trips are documented on the website www.taniwani.eu In the future we plan to keep our friends informed of our journey via this blog.
